Big Duck Canvas 1000 Denier Coated Polyester Canvas in Silver is an very durable, tough fabric material that will not rot. This canvas is the go to fabric for sewing rugged outdoor gear: heavy duty duffel bags, backpacks, gym mats, luggage, protective cases, dopp kits, ski bags ... even footwear. 1000D fabric is often used for horse blankets and stall gear. 1000 Denier Polyester has twice the tear strength of cotton with a water resistant coating! (For awnings and boat covers, please see 600 Denier Marine Canvas or Outdura Solution Dyed Acrylic.)
Sun/UV Resistance: Direct sunlight overtime can cause fading to all outdoor fabrics. Trek7 Ray Bloc is recommended to extend the color life of this fabric if used outdoors. This fabric is not solution dyed and will fade faster than outdoor Solution Dyed Fabrics.
