This multipurpose Army Duck fabric is made from a tight, plied yarn weave which increases its strength and helps it resist tearing. That Look
Waxed canvas is ultra popular, and one of the primary reasons is the look. It behaves somewhat like leather in that it ages or patinas over time. With regular use, you'll see wrinkles and 'craze marks' develop in this material. That's what gives waxed canvas its unique appearance. You can minimize the appearance of these marks with a hair dryer, but most people prefer this vintage or 'worn' look. You just won't find this in other material.
Plus our waxed canvas normally requires minimum care to maintain its awesomeness—it typically doesn't need to be washed. In hot and cold temperatures alike, this material performs well.
